Can'T Win For Losing Poem by Audrey Heller

You'll never know, how hard I try, to
get back on a winning streak! It seems
no matter what I do, everything, turns
out bleak. I used to be very lucky.
Whatever I touched, I would win. For
ever so long, it's been a downward
slope, I happen to be in! It makes you
kind of wonder, why this happens? Why
does your luck disappear? For me, it's
been a very long time, more then over a
year. I've heard it said, luck runs in cycles.
Well, if that is so, it's time for it to change.
Things should start to go my way. I guess
I'll keep on playing and hope it all comes
back, to me, some day!
