Can U Be My Friend
so confused
in so many ways
makes u wonder
how u pass the day
wanting to talk
yet so afraid
of the hurt
the rejection
the pain
u ask so many people
can u be my friend
to help the troubled
the lost and the sane
yet they laugh and walk away
3 days go by
still so confused
u walk through town
thinking of ur blues
when u see the child crying
u want to help but not sure how
u listen to her
and all she asks is...
can u be my friend
This is nice and very true for all of us. we all call for help. but others just walk away
