Cancer Survivor Poem by Ray Hansell

Cancer Survivor

I really do miss your smile
That you wore each day
In particlar I always liked
How you'd always flash it my way

I really wish there were
More people like you
Then the world would surely be
A better place for people to pass through

Life has given you one detour
That you managed to survive
But always be on your guard
In case another should arise

I hope your life is long and happy
That's just what you deserve
I hope the road your travel
Is straight with very few curves
