Cannon Bones

I love to feel on summer days
your cool and slender cannon bones
as they uphold your many ways
I love to feel on summer days.
While you beside me idly graze,
dear sweet and tender roan of roans,
I love to feel on summer days
your cool and slender cannon bones.
