Caspian Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Caspian

Caspian

In horse-eye
-saw leaf fall.

Danced in air
-floated, rotated
-landed and orated:
- "Caspian, "

Strange!
-I wondered!

Turned pages
-written and
-not-written!

Old, old, old
-too ancient!

Here lived the people
-animals, flowers!

Now, all are divided!

Tabari and Gorgi
The Armen, Azeri
Most of all Assyri

Strange!
-I, wonder:
- "Who am I?
-which of them? "

Become "Horse Whisperer! "
-we converse…

He asks me:
- "How are you brother? "

We gallop days and nights
-to Qazvin; the ancient "Caspian! "
- (Well-Known by the Romans!)
