A rhymelet on the importance of time for children:
By Jaypee
When we find our time ticks out
We fail to see how fast it denies us
The same things that we hold abreast:
Pity, we don’t see that it has no stops.
The worst of our enemy is our thought
That it is ‘a no-way-out’ intent
But, that we have no way out isn’t
that we haven’t at all any way out.
What we are worried more about is
That ‘we’re denied’, not what we’ve got.
Who is there in your own empire
to deny you this or that or whatever?
When we let our time tick out
An opportunity we simply deny it.
At, ‘oh, it wouldn’t be different either’,
we deny us our own destined hour.
It is much more painful than what time is
To be unaware of what our time keeps for us.
Catch up! It is now, neither later nor ever.
Catch up! It is now, neither later nor ever.
