Caught In A Storm Poem by Ray Hansell

Caught In A Storm

Sky was grey
Sun not around
Rain started falling
Wetting the ground

We ran for cover
But it was too late
The storm let loose
It sealed our fate

We had to wait
For the storm to pass by
We ran for shelter
Hoping we'd dry

We sat and talked
As the rain kept falling
We knew the sun
Would soon come calling

The clouds broke up
Then drifted away
The rain finally stopped
Clearing the way

Back on the street
Again holding hands
Even in a storm
I'm still a lucky man

Her and I walked on
Passing the day
Not even a storm
Could wash our love away
