A jolt bursting with electricity
A shooting star, granting dreams to all the dreamers.
Is what you are.
An atom charged full of electrons,
Casting their conductivity with every word you speak.
Unseen through the air,
Through the phone lines, via text.
Sitting high upon the pole.
A pedestal lifted high.
Although celestial. The equator separates me from the
gift of your smile. Unable to reach,
I wait for the night.
Praying that you can be seen without a telescope.
Sleep comes so hard for the eyes that long to see you
before they close for the night,
Single reason to believe in faith as eyes grow tired,
Bending knees that have begun to ache in prayer,
As you, yourself,
Have become heaven.
The eclipse of An endless reality my eyes have never before seen,
I have searched my dreams everywhere,
I asked my pillow, even checked under the comforter,
Only to find there was no comfort,
to soothe such a fear,
Until I see the constellation of your smile
Electric Lady
