Chain Of Dreams Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Chain Of Dreams

Chain of dreams

Weekend meant
Two days of not working
Stayed home and did film
Cut, copy and pasting
Unlike job,
Gluing, tape pasting.

Time taken by masters
Was now mine, in hours
Twenty for my arms
On ladder, scaffolds
Two hours driving…

In mirror, this in mirror
I saw me brushing and shaving
I have changed, recovered…

But that work
Though unmatched for my age
Strange to schools, my grades
Is needed, for bread…

My chance to more sleep
Gave me chains of dreams…

Saw cousin, my twin
Estranged brother in mourning
And daughter when she was toddler
And tons more…
One came and questioned me of Parker
"Go, follow Lolita, " I told him
Somebody wanted me for Football…

Now is day and I am still home
Thanks to rain and weather and snow
I think, think and question:
"What's dream? "
"Supernatural separates corpse and soul! "

I was born and raised to:
"Love the soul related."
