A new dawn
A new day
Feel the past slip away
What once was important
Now isn't such
I don't yearn so for his touch
Slowly starting over a new life
It's not been easy
Life's knocks are always there, teasing me
But I'm still here
And doing OK
Looking forward to that brighter new day
