the world its changing
and moving so fast
its hard to understand
hard to grasp
and with the world
people are changing
rearranging
and i dont know who anyone is
anymore
nobodies the same
its getting kinda insane
i have found my true friends
the ones that will be there
for me until the very end
you say im changing
of course i am
we're moving on
and forward with our lives
and nobodies gonna be the same
no matter how hard they try
i am more confident i speak my mind
but im also more afraid of wats gonna
happen to me in time
although i say what i think
and act like i dont care
im worried all the time
when they look at me and stare
what are they thinking?
am i worrying too much?
and even though i walk around
acting like i've got not a care in the world
truth is im carrying the world on my shoulders
and im falling lower every step
because my lifes become a mess
and i dont know what to do anymore
life is getting harder as the years roll by
and its so hard to concentrate on anything good
when schools not any better
and people are causing worthless drama
over things that dont even really matter
how does that make you look?
seriously what do you think about
when you make that poor girl cry
because shes likes the guy you're with
or when you beat that guy on you're football team
because you think he shouldnt be there
because he just doesnt fit in
what is going through your mind
the second you do what you do?
do you get joy outta other peoples pain?
or are you so insecure you feel you
have to make innocent people suffer
to make you feel like youre worth something
this chaos has got to stop
gotta stop telling people to go die
just because they dont wear abercrombie
live in a mansion, or drive a escalade
because unlike you and your 'groupies'
they dont live your life
they're different from you
oh god forbid i forgot that everybody in this place
has to be just like you to fit in, to be cool
but the world doesnt revolve around you
there ARE differences
there IS change
because if everybody were to be like you
the world would be an impossible place to live in
no doubt about it thats the simple truth
