Chapter Of My Past Poem by alysha renee'

i turned back, to a chapter in my past
i walked through the pages, reading of my my mistakes
reminicing of the way we were

though armed with pencil and eraser; i made careful not to erase my quandries.
but added to the end of this chapter
so though i didnt erase my mistakes, i did attempt to correct them

finally satisfied with the end result, i stopped.
i admired my work, showing of how far ive come
then i walked out that door, closing it; never again to return.
