Chipped Off Veneers Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Chipped Off Veneers

Like a dense cloud
Is Sunshines hideout
My veil of solitude
I use to remain unfound
Beyond the sea of dunes
Buried deep underground

Blanket of
Smoke and ash
Forrest fires
Burned down
memories stash
Lost my roots
No place to dwell

Long Lasting
pains of hurt
Each time
I tasted dirt
In the hands
of one I trust

Scars and tears
Perpetual fears
I have to live
With,
Chipped off
veneers
Nalini
