Her vision lowered,
And the romantic flavour was lost.
Her hands let go of our chains,
The chains which bound us in the sublime.
My freedom (our limitness)which had fleeting expression,
Had suddenly felt shut out to me.
It seemed like the earthly blessing
Which I felt through every sense
In my bodily frame:
The chords, the twines, the strings,
All fit in perfect symmetry, had been let loose
Causing disharmony in my soul
And which I felt run down my body;
Like a stream rippling in a state of frenzy,
Abandoning the course it meant to take.
As I sit in transfixed thought,
My feelings go long back
To the days which I thought dead,
But which shone to a new beginning.
A beginning of Promise, Faith and Togetherness.
