Christ In A Garden Poem by Janet Mary Zylstra

Christ In A Garden

Rating: 3.0

Christ in a garden of roses -
Where beauty meets beauty
And Love meets the symbol of love;

Christ in a garden of roses -
Where the bearer of thorns
Meets the Wearer of Thorns who shed blood;

Christ in a garden of roses -
Where the perfume of spring
And the perfume of holiness mingle;

Christ in a garden of roses -
Where Creator, creation,
Life and its Giver are one.

A delightful write; nicely done. Is the garden that's being referred to called Gethsemane?

Janet this poem is very beautiful. Well sometimes I get angry when people potray Christ in any other way then how the bible potrays it. Perhaps this is one of the few exceptions. I especially love the last line. Indeed it is Truth manifested in beauty! Nice Write!
