Christ In Our Pockets Poem by JoAnn McGrath

Christ In Our Pockets

Christ In Our Pockets

How convenient this world has become
Every thing we need right under our thumb
Every thing there to fulfill a need
Every thing there to satisfy greed

We often walk with Christ in our pocket
Lost to the fact that He is tops on the docket
If you have steadfast faith He is always there for you
So hidden in your pocket just won't do

In a world of convenience Christ should still come first
Don't bring him out just when you thirst
Talk with Him daily and He will lend an ear
But keeping Him in your pocket only makes it clear
Your steadfast faith is not sincere

Lil sis, sometimes we forget the things we should remember most that the dear lord is always there when we need him and that we should treat him as such. Top marks and thanks for sharing this Lil sis. Hope you are having a Happy Easter. God Bless Big Bruv xxx
