The love of Father God for man
Came down from heaven, once again,
To show He would do all He can
To save man’s soul in sinful lane!

He sent His only Son called Christ
To be born of a virgin’s womb
Of lady known to be so chaste,
A thing that sealed satan’s end / doom!

The second Eve thus crushed the head
Of satan who put man in sin,
And saved him from a hopeless world,
With capability to win.

The fruit of Virgin Mary’s womb
Was Jesus Christ, who bore the cross
To redeem living, those in tomb,
And showed that He was clearly boss.

Thus, God was born upon the earth
In poverty and humblest way,
To give all mankind, Heaven’s mirth
And justice on Last Judgment Day.

God’s love was born on Christmas Day;
There was no room in any inn;
The baby King just slept on hay –
A sign of love for man within.

Oh, what a lovely God’s own Son!
Oh, what a way to save mankind!
The work of Redemption began –
A fact of mystery, we all find.

Oh, baby Jesus, You brought peace
Into a world of sinful curse,
And hope to man to live with ease,
And reach God’s abode, heaven’s bliss.

The world was filled with intense joy
When born was Jesus, baby boy,
To be the Truth, Way and the Light,
And make man’s future always bright.

Oh, thank You God for Your great love;
To hope renewed, mankind will bow;
When sinners change, there’s joy above
Man freed from sin can live on now!

‘Thus, God was born,
A man, one morn;
Through Christ, His Son,
Hope was reborn! ’
