God wants us serve Him on the street
In towns and country roads
Helping the weak the foe defeat
And bear their heavy loads
For God inside our heart would dwell
Our soul he’ll gladly save
For this He died and spare from hell
And flee the dreaded grave
The Lord Himself we’ve need to hear
Turn backs to wayward sin
The Father of all learn to fear
Through all His love within
Not from a building made of stone
Nor wisdom deep and true
But through The One who stood alone
Before creation knew
Just as a child we ought to be
Obedient to serve
Even to death with Christ agree
That life’s beyond the curve
Beyond the great and last divide
Beyond the great unknown
Through Jesus reigning true inside
We’ll harvest crown and throne
Because we live and thrive to love
Because to self we die
We’ve endless life in peace above
Within God’s house on high
We need to look beyond our walls
Beyond and in between
Obey our Saviour when He calls
And be His faithful queen
