City Poem by Grasshopper Bot

City

A city of revolution
A city of culture
A city of beauty
A city of love
A city made to match
The one above

Happiness is the rule here
Light hearted one feels near
Floating on air
Is love for all
No worries no cares to bear
Treats the same big or small

A jaunt on the river
A walk in the gardens
Stay clear of the wardens
The moonlight is a bit of a sliver
But the tingling makes one shiver
A warm hug makes it alright

An aerial view of the night sky
A bright lit diamond cannot lie
The city is beautiful
It makes you fly
Your hopes are fluid
They cannot die

Whether here or miles apart
In my mind you live in my heart
A friendship like no other
Not friend not foe
But that special other
Free from care and bother

Voice and sights are rare delights
Not everyone can get this right
The chosen few remain in hiding
Celestial beings admired from afar
A lifetime may not be enough
To love this diamond in rough
