CITY LIFE

CITY LIFE
These children,
among the concrete jungle,
how can they understand nature?
chirping of birds,
rising of the sun,
shining of the moon,
how can they feel.
the pleasure of natural wind,
bliss in the dizzling,
sweat in the noon,
clarion call of the cuckoo in the dawn,
ripening of the fruit,
blossoming of the flower,
flight of the butterfly
SAVE NATURE-- SAVE NATURE

Poem of the Day

poet Pablo Neruda

I want you to know
one thing.

You know how this is:
if I look
at the crystal moon, at the red branch
of the slow autumn at my window,
if I touch
