Classroom Poem by Katelynn Farris

Classroom

Rating: 2.8

Sitting alone in a cold dark classroom
Teachers yelling at you for something you don’t understand
You sit here and think
But you can’t think of anything
All you hear is nagging because you cant be 'as smart'
As the other children
All you want is to be the same
But you can never get it now matter how had you try
It feels like you’re a 2nd grader in a high school class
You don’t understand anything
Your eyes go out of focus
Your head hurts
You have a constant voice in your head telling you to do better
Because you don’t want to fail
You just wish you were like everyone else
And it depresses you because you know
You can never have it.
