Clavier Dream



clavier tempered of stars and other suns
on piano practice afternoons...

I remember you at the picture window's
piano or when the moon floats into view
and she falls off the bench so small

but large as music already she will be
as if music were this April sheen
we would see no Spring ever died but feel that

pale green branches touch across the

avenues
of the Eternal and
this is Music, too, my sister smiled...
