Clockwork Poem by Lost Sierra

Clockwork

She giggled
She laughed
She smiled
She had a great time

You thought she was happy
You could not have guessed
What was really happening?

Her cutting and cutting
Like it was a game
She said it was better then all the pain.

I try to get her to stop
But she cuts until the sight of blood drops

I cannot sit here and watch her
She use to be so happy
That smile would light up the world.

She is changing like clockwork
How do I keep up?
How do I make her stop?
