Close To Heaven Poem by Rob Lamberton

If you look at our planet from space it's beautiful, seemingly an oasis among the stars but come in a little closer, then closer still and you soon learn the bitter truth. In parts it's still heaven though, we just have to learn to respect our environment and each other and to stop warring.
