Bare on yourself a sneer or two
From those who would dismiss
Having ignored you for a fool
In love with their own bliss
Slamming the chapter of a book
To gather mildew dust
Not giving you a second look
No more than copper rust
Completely written off as waste
Your muse of yesterday
Someone lacking in common taste
They never want your say
Until the moment of your flight
Brings winds of awe and fear
Across their snickers of delight
A change comes unaware
The halls and walls of common sense
Rein in the most absurd
Then cleans the mind of fog too dense
To see beyond the merde
It racks the brain of heads held high
Then pulls them back to earth
Exposing nude their greatest lie
Opinions with no worth!
