Coded Me Poem by Ayandare Mayowa

Coded Me

This is not all there is to see,
All that you see is not all to see and be seen,
See, you hold in sight only a fraction of a sea,
And that which you will like to see can't be seen,
Cos' I am a Pro. at hiding it, since.
I confess: Still nurse some secret sins,
Yes, within me wastes some subtle things,
And maybe or not it is normal, like fish in a sardine tin.
Who can tell where another man has been?
How will you know how deeply he's compromised his being?
Can't tell what is or not to be,
But ce sera sera, what will be will be.
Of money, maybe, but with your life never stand for me,
Apreciate your trust of me,
But with your right eye, gamble not on behalf of me.
Go ahead, say it, I am rused in deceit,
Whatever, I think I am still one of the best you'll meet,
However, not all my fabric is well stitched and neat,
In heaven still, I have a reserved seat.
Should your google have close shot my flaws,
Zoom more, there is a plus,
But if all you see still is false and faults,
Mind your lens and quit the fuss.
