Cold Curtain Of Acceptance Poem by Daniel Peter Jones

Cold Curtain Of Acceptance

To be engulfed, by the warm curtain
of Clarity.

I'm Saddened by leaking love,
Each word discussed, is released
from your mouth, but
Freezes and falls
Melting between the floor boards

Im saddened by strangers touch,
You stroke my skin, long sensual
Strokes, from my neck down
Between my shoulder blades,
If only my shoulder blades
were Scissors, to cut you off

i'm saddened by unfamiliar Kisses
Lips meeting with amnesia, lost
Placement and character
What is skin? why is it moist?
Where's the snapping of electrical pulse
Why so foreign? so dull?

To be engulfed in the cold curtain of acceptance.
