Collared Pig Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Collared Pig

Collared Pig

Read for joy and learning
-inspired make me the poetry.
-Today's best was Smith's.

Confessions and sorrows
-reactions, what follows.

He talks of "Black Mouth"
- (and the wrongs of his palms;
-commits but, does not want…)

I found the poet like
-collared pig that I saw
-on border Bolivian farm
-when heading for Chaco.

When away from fence
-the pig acted normal
-ate, drank, moved around.

When tried to cross
-the border of the farm,
-though aware of head's size
-forcefully got stuck within bars!

Surprised, pig tried
-and tried, retried…

Failure was repeated
-and again, and again.

Finally found a way
-with powers limited…

The owner, a farmer
-in his hand a shovel
-ran after the pig and
-shouted and insulted.

Pig was caught forcibly
-enforced into limits…

Yes, yes, yes, crime is
-always born to limits!
