Triauna Hall (April 21 / Maryland)
Come To Me
You come to me when you need to talk
When you come we go for a walk
You're upset and express it through words
I stand back, I watch and observe
I wait while you calm down
Now I speak and tell you what to do now
You listen and nod your head up and down
Now you try and turn the situation around
You leave happy because someone cared
Now it's my turn but it's not really fair
I look for you but you're not there
So I sit and hold everything inside
While you walk around with a whole lot of pride
It's not fair how you do so much wrong
I'm the one who helps move you along
I love you but you don't say it back
It hurts so much it's like an attack
Its okay I'm always here for you
I wish it occurred for you too
I will always have your back no matter what you do or say
But I'm not so sure anymore you're pushing me away
I can't stand it, how you sit back and relax
While I'm the one with stress all over my back
You need to grow up and act like a man
It's alright I'll step up to my stand
You may act big and strong but inside your weak
You think I'm playing you never take me seriously
It's all good, you'll learn one day
But right now, you need to stay out my way
I'm so serious this is not a game
This is reality it's never the same
I care for you, always and forever
I want us to handle things together
Until then always remember this
I love you, don't let that slip
It's okay, I'm always here for you
I just wish it occurred for you too
