Coming Home

I would stand before you
veins are filled with anticipation
As the engines begin to roar
For i did what i should've done

As I feel the paradise coming
As I step into the train
The bliss as I am walking in air
Like a melody by Kurt Cobain

Coming home Coming Mom
Flying from far far away
Coming home Coming Mom
You know that I wouldn't stay

I would stroll on familiar streets
of the town that's called home
A speck of love in cosmic sand
For it's my London and it's my Rome

Dinner at Mummy da dhaba
delicacies you couldn't even name
You brought a cold stone to life
For your happiness is what's my aim

Coming home coming mom
I would be there when it gets grey
Coming home coming mom
You know that I wouldn't stay

    A beautiful poem to herald the homecoming of a beloved one.
    'Coming home Coming Mom
    Flying from far far away
    Coming home Coming Mom
    You know that I wouldn't stay'
    To a mom whose child stays abroad, I guess 'coming home' is important, rather than the question whether the child would stay for long or not.
    Loved the emotion of love and affection in the poem. (Report) Reply

poet Sarah Flower Adams

O Love! thou makest all things even
In earth or heaven;
Finding thy way through prison-bars
Up to the stars;
Or, true to the Almighty plan,
That out of dust created man,
