Common Ground Is Sin Poem by Suzae Chevalier

Pastor wants to sugarcoat
the gospel of Jesus Christ
Now Pastor why would Jesus give His life?
Because of 'our sin'
which is the 'common ground'
that is in all of humanity,
in each individual, it can be found.
Each of us is of need a Savior for
our very soul---
because it is only Heaven or hell.
The only way to Heaven is through
the Spirit of Jesus Christ--
The Son of God who gave His life
so we could have life for eternity
in heaven by His side--
once we confess our sins
He can wash our hearts clean
It is only through His shed blood
that we can be redeemed.
