Confusion Of The Nature Poem by Janelle Morehart

Confusion Of The Nature

Confusion of the Nature

Water child of the sea
Do you see the nonexsitant me?
Fiery star of the nothern skies
Can you hear my soft sweet lullaby?
Icy maiden of snowy tears
Can you touch a soul not there?
Earthy mother of all the land
Can you smell the salt of mine tears?
Wind spirit of east, west, north and the south
Can you taste the smile that no longer grins?
Sing me a song I'll never know
Dance me a dance more whiter than snow
Make sense of insanity
Destroy all that is sane
Crazy by nature
Crazy in vain
North South
East West
Each of them sang
Which one fought?
Which one won?
The confusion lives one
Nature grows on and on
This is madness
This is wrong
But still I wish
Oh how I wish
To hear their song
