Consequences Poem by Kaitlyn Henning

Consequences

Blades of ice chill my spine
My time is coming
Locked in a darkend room,
The dead all around me
Nowhere to turn.
Their life's blood covers it all.
The floor, the walls, Me
Days go by while I am hidden
The body now at my feet is familiar
The consequences of taking a life
I must watch mine be taken from me.

This is a morbid little thing with cold, cold imagery. Get out of that cold dark room, Kaitlyn! Run ;)

hmmm....Kaitlynn.....this is not one of your best poems. It doesn't really flow together. Try having things in chronic (vocab word! ! !) order. I like the morbidness of the poem....so dark, so deep. Makes me wonder what you were thinking ^.^
