Conspicuous Reality Poem by s yadu krishnan

Conspicuous Reality

Rating: 5.0

'Is life a quest for what it is?
Is it a boon or a pity shown?
Pushing hard in the race of life!
Has man won or has he lost? '

How silly it was! ,
man din't know,
when he sought out to fight;
in order to become bright! !
Life after all is a game!
man plays against himself on both sides!
Playing hard in the game called life!
Has man won or has he lost?

He was taught from the very first,
that survival was only to the fittest!
This made him think,
this made him learn!
This made him grow nd earn!
But little did he know,
that every interest of his was governed!
Governed by the fear of survival,
which he himself had yearned!
Cuz that is what he had always heard!
seen, believed and learned,
That; Pain teaches!
Energy drives!
Knowledge lets you thrive!

Always in the clutch of a catalyst,
Man has grown and grown!
But never did he look behind,
to know he hadn't won alone!

Its time man realised
his routine life!
stood aside and
proved his side!
To free himself
and the rest to come,
To let them live the life they own!

A life where one's interest comes from within!
A life that isn't driven from another's win! !

A very philosophical piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely penned with insight. Whether man has won or lost is a question that no school of thought can answer with certainty. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
