Construct Ideas, Go Nowhere, Die! Poem by GRANT FRASER

Construct Ideas, Go Nowhere, Die!

Like something
that darts out
underwater, from
the crevice
of a big rock,

anything learned
nothing gained,

air bubbles!

self containment,

paying your dues back,
to self similar aliens,

a pocket opening,
then a mouth,
and another
bowel movement,

a fascination
moves into light,
perimeter of an
excellent word,
lingers until your
at the point -

of?

as a dream seen better
than imaginary,

maybe even real?

though your just
another inch
from absolutely
nothing,

and the whole
drama is you,
entering the world
every second,

wading deeper...

and words spring
out of your mouth!

stupid meaning
was I to think
I was anything
other than what
you see,
unto yourself!

a name not unlike
a thrown away
wrapper,

rustling nowhere
on a bush of your mind...
