Chewing groundnut from a roadside stall;
sumptuous dinner in a five star hotel
a glass of water in a hot summer day;
cocktail party in a grand restaurant
a T-shirt worn in a casual gathering;
dressed in connoisseur's suit in a formal meet
riding a bi-cycle in a countryside road;
driving a Mercedes in express highway
devoting half an hour for meditation;
joining a queue for temple 'darshan'
completing basic degree in any subject;
striving for doctorate in a professional course
an ordinary job in a small establishment;
highly paid professional in a multinational firm
getting sleep over a floor mat;
enjoying bed in air-conditioned room
it is the CONTENTMENT that matters:
in the final run-up to our death
nothing shall be carried forward
contentment, an independent function
of the powerful mind
desires are natural:
but contentment quotient determines
the upper limit of desires
whatever you can achieve
train your mind to be complacent
to checkmate the wild desires
the feeling of contentment
allows the sensation of love
over all our body cells
to make them relax
contentment, the harbinger of joy
let us all aim
for a higher contentment quotient.
