Contextual Dream Poem by Samantha Campbell

Contextual Dream

I dream in Rich Text
Upon Contours
and Cornucopias
of Curvatures
and Font

Comic Sans
Calisto MT or Garamond

Bold and Italics

Dreaming with Conviction
Not if or like's or maybe's

I Dream in HTML where i can hyperlink
written material to Post to the World

Bridging with adverbs
and substituting gaps
with pronouns

I dream in BROADWAY
Wishing to shine lights
on silent situations
and bring the reflection
of shadows in dark dens
of dormant demons
lurking in the depth of dialogue
that only you and I
can comprehend

I dream in Scripture
Scribed my Neurological Spurts

Contextual Connotations
Acquired Conversations
Construed Conservatively

Only between My Mental Corridors
Where Hieroglyphics Lurk

I dream in idioms
within the craziness
of my Locution
Pushing forward
like a locomotive
running along
the paths
of electrolytes
and wispy soliloquy
border-lining schizophrenia

I day dream in text
seeing sayings
within the the clouds
and feeling its depth
with the wind

As I dip into the sea of sentences
I continue to dream in TEXT
