Controlled Feelings Poem by Phil Daniels

These feelings of mine
Given by one so divine
Do I bring them under control?
Or do I bury them deep in a hole

Now there is that loving feeling
Given to me for life's healing
Or that one of deepest hurt
Should I now with the other be curt?

Then there is that feeling of care
Given to me for with others to share
And then that feeling oh so sad
The one that makes me awfully mad

So do I so freely share my love
Or in anger give a mighty shove
Oh no my Jesus He will say
Share My love and give it away

Not like the world so greedy share
Nor revengeful, hurt or despair
But joy and freedom in all your giving
As in control your whole life living
