CONVERSATION WITH THE DEVIL

Devil - C’mon bro, you’ve prayed enough
Take a rest now, you deserve it
God is satisfied with you
How many people do you know who worship him as much as you do?

Me - Yow! You go to sleep, I haven’t prayed enough
I am not taking a nap yet
My deeds are never going to be sufficient
I’ll only make it to Janna with Allah’s mercy

Devil - C’mon girl, remove that hijab
God gave you this beauty
He doesn’t want you to hide it
Do you think boys will look at you when you’re covered?

Me - Hey! I refuse to be fooled by you
I don’t care if guys don’t look at me
God commands me to be modest
And my beauty is only for my husband to see

Devil - C’mon man, after all you’ve done
After all the sins you’ve committed
Don’t fool yourself, don’t waste your time
Do you think God is going to forgive you?

Me - Look! You’ve put me through enough already
The lord I serve is the Most Merciful
He gave me life, without me asking
If I ask Him for forgiveness, He’ll surely forgive me.

Devil - C’mon sis, Aren’t you tired yet
You’ve done so much but your lord has ignored you
Don’t waste your time, go do something else
If God was going to answer, he would have done it by now

Me - Nice Try, I am never going to stop asking
Allah loves being praised and being prayed to
So I’ll continue to pray and praise him
I have desires but he knows what’s best for me

Devil - C’mon buddy, go talk to her
She’s being flirting with you all day
All your hommies got a girl but you still single
Don’t you want to be one of the cool dudes?

Me - Actually No, I’d rather be one of the righteous men
And I can’t be one with a girlfriends
You won’t get me into fornication
I am saving myself for my wife.
