Coping
she shouldered.
...but no.
it was more deliberate.
she examined
every corner,
every space,
marking off a list
inside her head.
...each detail.
check and check.
photos? done
flowers? in place
Jack looks wonderful
..so peaceful
..not made up at all.
where to stand?
remember the names.
back straight
hair in place.
no tears,
check and check.
