Cosmic Searcher Poem by William McGehee

Cosmic Searcher

Though light years lay between us
And planets block my path,
Where black holes swallow matter
And spit out in the past;
Though Comets dance around you
And coldness kills the light
Just hold on, I will find you.
I'll break through all the night.

I'd comb through every crater.
I would fly past every star.
I would search through all the cosmos
Just to find you where you are

Constellations help to guide me
When darkness seams so vast.
Here gravity's combining
Our future in the past.
Don't worry if your lonely
Or lost among asteroids
Just wait and I will find you
I will conquer all the void

I'd comb through every crater.
I would fly past every star.
I would search through all the cosmos
Just to find you where you are.
