Counting Love Poem by Dawn Novus

Counting Love

Rating: 5.0

In my solemn heart
I am counting every hair on your head
To know I can put you back together
Just so
Every cell binding you to your humanity
Binds you to ignite your self
Every reflecting light
Prisms off your diamond eyes
Each nuckle a soft rolling sand dune
Into valley of capabable hands
Limitless is my love for you
Knowing the count of each sand grain
Fallen since you woke me.
