Crazy Clown Poem by Barry Middleton

Crazy Clown

I'm not sure how much I can take.
Sometimes nothing gives me a break.

But I don't pay it very much heed.
I have all that I really need.

I have my friends. I know the way,
as I go out walking to greet the day!

Often I get down on the world.
I spin the globe and give it a whirl.

It spins around this crazy clown.
I just won't let it keep me down.

I have my friends. I know the way,
as I go out walking to greet the day!

No more regret, no sorrow for me,
I think that I will finally break free.

No no no more, I'm out the door,
I'm going to take a walk, or I may soar.

I have my friends. I know the way,
as I go out walking to greet the day!
