Critique and Prejudice*
Similarities
Vulgarities, language irregularities
and censoring moralities
All become literary
targets for the evolving
of human – expression
Whereby, an infantile flora, from seed to bud
naturally matures with inherent birth rights
Critiquing of its beauty or poor appearance
while still at “Bud, ” desecrates
all that it self embraces
Unforgiving, stifling creativity and that
which all are hopeful of, herewith
promises to self-flower to dignified maturity

On 7/30/2009 Santosh (Dr. Santosh Kumar) spoke these words: Dear Louie Levy Your wonderful poem 'Critique and Prejudice' lieaves no doubt in my mind that you are a great and gifted poetic artist. The subtle use of apt and suggestive words 'Similarities', 'Vulgarities', 'language irregularities' and 'censoring moralities' reveals musical possibilities of language. Your diction is unique and original. Santosh Kumar On 7/27/2009 JBStillwater (Janet Brennan) formulated these words: Louie: As you know, this is my very favorite poem and I have it hanging with your gentle signing on my wall in my office, above my computer, should I EVER forget this credo that should be a part of every good writer's soul. Yes, I am your 'bud' and I thank you every day of my life for that. Huggs Jan Janet K. Brennan
