As thunder roars
In the sky
I hang my head
And begin to cry
If he was only
By my side
My fears and worries
Would all subside
I let him go
I had no doubt
With his Love
I could do without
My wish had
Come to pass
As I saw him
Leave at last
My loneliness
Soon began
It didn't take long
To understand
If he was only
By my side
I would never
Ever cry
