An arranged marriage
decided while sipping tea
Slowly became romantic
as leaves flavor broke free
The tea ritual continued
as the hearts grew close
One cup in the morning
other when the sun reposed
Life stories were shared
and dreams free to canter
No harsh judgement
just a humorous banter
Slowly the relationship
found its color and strength
Even in silence
they could talk in length
The cup of tea
was just an excuse
to look into each other's eyes
as love slowly brewed
