Cupid - Έρως Poem by Kostas Lagos

Cupid - Έρως

Rating: 5.0

Great honors deserves the hero
who will capture the winged demon
and trash his fiery arrows into the abyss
so there will be no more hearts
burnt by their strikes

Poor little Eros Not his fault His mother Venus Aphrodite Taught him all he knows. Terrific poem, especially fit for Valentine's day, In a humoristic, special, way!

Thank you Sandra! I don't think Eros was just a spoiled kid!

Yes, love is often bitter. Cupid must be contained. The hurts and the pangs of love are hard to bear. A cynical but realistic take on love. Well penned.
