Curse Poem by Rinku Tiwari

Curse

Rating: 4.5

I sit silently in the porch,
Soft spoken, timid I am.
He flies kite in the field,
No boundary, no barriers.
Me; the respect, the dignity
And he; the open bird.
Sacrifices, hard work,
Today I work for him.
But tomorrow
He touches me, my respect
Throw me to a manhole.
No one comes for
To save their respect,
I weep silently....
Alas! I am a girl....
