Cycle Of Daedalus



As light dawned before it's time,
The blind repelled it's beams,
Their fantasies, thoughts and dreams.

Reborn was cycle of Daedalus,
Awaiting in shadow of colossus,
For times of mind truly benevolent,
Free world to heaven equivalent,
And a child as his golden idealist,
For equilibrium would be the catalyst.

Leaders of men came to analyze,
Wisdom they once rushed to demonize,
Formulas, experiments and schemes,
What is science but like witchcraft seems.

Determined voice flocked the unfortunate,
With bright eyes to hopeful hearts educate,
Stilling the mind to essence behold,
Bringing the unaware into the fold,
Freeing the consciousness to future mold,
Shouting the words we have always been told,
Of shaping the present by taking steps bold.

Yet it grew to illuminate,
