Dad Poem by Kevin Condron

Dad

Dad

I had laughter and hope, I had joy
And the darkness was never that bad
I could always just chat with my Dad

Happiness, a future of laughter and love

I had meaning and reason for life
And at times I did not understand
Dad would give me a comforting hand

Contentment, hope and purpose

I have sorrow and loss, all is gone
And nothing can stop so much pain
Dad is dead, I won`t see him again

Sadness, Despair, Anger, Loneliness
And a Meaningless Existence
